How to create an event?
Navigate to your "Events" home page, and click the "New event" button.
Fill out the details on the new event form.
Event basics
Event title: The event title is the name or headline that represents your event.
Event image: Upload an eye-catching image that visually represents your event.
Description: Give a brief description for your event so guests can have more information on what to expect.
Resources: Add any resources/links that you think are relevant to the event.
Displayed host: Add displayed host to show the event is affiliated with specific Groups or Offices.
Event type: Select the type of event to help attendees understand the format and purpose of your event.
Date and time
Event date & time: Specify the date and time for your event.
Location
Event location: Provide details about the event location.
In-person: add a venue name, address, city
Hybrid: add your in person location, Generate a Zoom or Google Meet meeting link or add your meeting link manually
Virtual: Generate a Zoom or Google Meet meeting link or add your meeting link manually
Groups
Linked groups: Link groups that are associated with this event. Linking a group helps with event and group budget tracking as well as better analytics reporting. Make sure all linked groups share the same currency.
Settings
Event privacy: Choose the privacy setting for your event.
Public: Anyone can see event page and RSVP
Organization: Anyone can see the event page but only employees can RSVP
Private: Only invited guests can see event page and RSVP
Event organizers: Specify the individuals who are organizing the event, being an event organizer allows you to edit and manage event details.
Offices: Add relevant offices to your event to help identify the event's association and track analytics.
RSVP pausing: Choose whether to allow pausing of RSVPs. This allows you to stop accepting new guests to your event after it is launched. If this option is enabled, invitations can only be sent via email. This setting cannot be changed once event is published.
