Five to Nine's Slack integration allows syncing public and private Slack channels to send event invitations. Once your Slack integration has been set up, follow the steps below to sync only the channels you'll need for invites.
Syncing public Slack channels
Confirm your Slack instance is integrated - you should see a green "Connected" label next to your Slack integration in Settings. Select "Manage Slack" ➡️ "Edit channels".
Select the public Slack channels you want to sync to Five to Nine and click "Save changes." Quickly find the channels you need using the search bar or page selector. You can change these at any time.
Syncing private Slack channels
Confirm your Slack instance is integrated - you should see a green "Connected" label next to your Slack integration in Settings.
While in your Slack instance, open the private Slack channel you want to sync to Five to Nine. Using the dropdown carrot next to the channel name, select the Integrations tab, and select Add app. Search for FiveToNine and click "add".
3. Once you've added the app to the private channel, refresh your Settings page in Five to Nine. Search the name of the private channel, and click "Save changes" to sync.
You're now able to send event invites to your private Slack channel!
